EARLY PALEOLITHIC SITES IN INDIA

The prehistoric period in the early development of human beings is commonly known as the Old Stone Age or the Paleolithic Age. Paleolithic groups developed increasingly complex tools and objects made of stone and natural fibers. The most important innovations of the Paleolithic era were language, art, scientific inquiry, and spiritual life.
